Will Marshall is a singer, composer, producer, pianist, synthesist, engineer and educator.

Most of Marshall's focus as a composer and producer is on his solo project, Never Will, which draws inspiration from art-pop, industrial, classical, electronic music, jazz and post-punk. He’s been part of a variety of musical projects: as the band-leader/producer for Coma Cartel and art-pop project 555mya, and as synthesist for Bay-Area rock group Now the Changes.

As an engineer Marshall has worked with artists including Oscar-nominated film composer Nicholas Britell, Grammy-nominated jazz musician Patrick Gleeson, experimental composer Augur Duende, and electronic acts Ill Gates, Freq Nasty and the Fungineers. With a unique skill-set as a musician and technical adept, he designs and develops bespoke tools to enable and improve artists’ creative processes.

As an educator, Marshall taught MM301 (Mixing & Mastering) and DJ210 (Live Performance) at Pyramind in San Francisco from 2015-2018, and is a well-known expert in the creative applications of music technology. He has written and directed several in-depth educational video series, taught numerous workshops, and still takes occasional private students.

As a mix engineer Marshall has worked through Pyramind Studios, helping clients with artistic direction, mixing and recording.
